hey this app rocks! im running it on my gateway laptop amd 64 bit athlon xp sp2 machine and xbox 360 on a 42" insigina 1080p lcd, and the picture is totally acceptable (hulu) the interface isnt great but you guys made it work, nice. obviously its not perfect being a beta, i do get some unplayable content errors but repeated attempts usually yield the goodness.

I had an idea for u guys but i doubt MS would go for it, create an app, possibly even using xna that you can download from the xbox marketplace to interface with either ur pc or the service providers directly. this could get u a much better ui situation, but yeah its doubtful xbox will bless such a cool app when they have a billion twin stick shooters to approve.

anyway im trying to get the word out to some influential podcasts about ur product because i think its rad, ill let u know if anything comes of it.

nice job fellas. and ladies.

word.

We are working currently on getting the 480p Hulu episodes available, so stay tuned for even better quality on the Hulu videos.

As far as we know, the XNA SDK does not expose any network communication outside of the Xbox Live! server, so not much we can do there...

However, on the bright side, we do plan on making PlayOn available as an MCE interface, which will work on Xbox, as well as any other Media Center Extender.

thanks for the reply,

i kind of figured that the xna thing was a non-starter but it would just be so sweet, i wish they would open the platform a little more but what can u do?

anyway i know xbox is releasing a new dashboard soon, have u guys had a chance to work on integrating with that? i know its just standards based, but the way the new 360 db now mimics the cross media bar from ps3 it might be pretty cool.

im also curious if hulu approves of what u guys are doing i know it makes sense to normal people how advantageous this relationship could be, but sometimes corporate dudes arent as agreeable. anyway id just hate to see this shut down because im loving it sooo much.

thanks again

I've been using Tversity for quite sometime, and that can only do so much. This app fills in that large gap of what's been missing, and what I believe will replace cable TV someday.

Keep up the great work.
